Cowboys 2021 NFL Draft Class

It was apparent to anybody playing, coaching or watching the Cowboys last season that their most glaring weakness was their defense. All season they were getting torched both on the ground and through the air. The Cowboy front office was well aware and spent their first six selections on the defensive side of the ball.

Micah Parsons was arguably the best defender in the entire draft, and grabbing him at 11 was a step in the right direction for rebuilding their defense. Kelvin Joseph is a strong, physical man coverage cornerback who faced all of the SEC’s top talent. This is a clear advantage as he adjusts to NFL talent.

Dallas continued to address needs in the front seven for the rest of day 2 as well. Dallas could have benefited from drafting an offensive lineman in the first two days, however I understand why they stuck to the defensive side of the ball.

They look to have a healthy Dak Prescott in 2021 and Jerry Jones will only have his sights on winning. Will America’s Team be America’s Team?
