Best Wide Receivers in the NFL Today – Going into Week 14
These are the top 10 best Wide Receivers in the NFL today based on overall talent, production so far this season, and projected production going forward.
10. Jaylen Waddle
2022-23 Season stats: 972 receiving yards, 6 receiving touchdowns, 57 receptions, 90 targets, 325 yards after catch
Don’t consider the last game a dud. Jaylen Waddle was injured and you can’t put too much stock into that game. Expect him to continue to be one of the best Wide Receivers in the NFL going forward this season.
9. Amon-Ra St. Brown
2022-23 Season stats: 830 receiving yards, 6 receiving touchdowns, 76 receptions, 100 targets, 394 yards after catch
Along with one of the best NFL nicknames ever in “the Sun God”, Amon-Ra St. Brown is a target hog. He was on fire late last season and has continued that dominance with Jared Goff as Quarterback. Just look at the stats.
8. A.J. Brown
2022-23 Season stats: 950 receiving yards, 9 receiving touchdowns, 61 receptions, 96 targets, 351 yards after catch
Consider the Titans firing their GM all A.J. Browns’ fault. This man has been nothing short of spectacular this season. He deserves a lot of credit for the emergence of Jalen Hurts who is now in the conversation for the best Quarterback in the NFL.
7. Ceedee Lamb
2022-23 Season stats: 928 receiving yards, 6 receiving touchdowns, 69 receptions, 111 targets, 330 yards after catch
After a dud of a week one game, people quickly wrote off Ceedee Lamb. In Geno Smith fashion, he didn’t write back. He is still an elite talent and with Dak Prescott back in the lineup has been putting up some extremely productive weeks.
6. Ja’Marr Chase
2022-23 Season stats: 702 receiving yards, 6 receiving touchdowns, 54 receptions, 82 targets, 323 yards after catch
After being injured for the full season, I still have to give Chase the respect he deserves. He was a top 3 Wide Receiver in the NFL last season and has shown no signs of slowing down. Joe Burrow will continue to sling the rock and Chase will be his favorite target.
5. DeAndre Hopkins
2022-23 Season stats: 574 receiving yards, 3 receiving touchdowns, 49 receptions, 64 targets, 126 yards after catch
Fresh off his suspension, DeAndre Hopkins found himself right where he left off. Even with the inconsistencies of Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins is a target hog. I’d argue he still has the best hands in the NFL today.
4. Stefon Diggs
2022-23 Season stats: 1202 receiving yards, 10 receiving touchdowns, 91 receptions, 128 targets, 371 yards after catch
While Josh Allen has been inconsistent in throwing the football over the past few weeks, the production of Stefon Diggs holds true. He is arguably the best route runner in the NFL today and his production and highlight reel proves that.
3. Davante Adams
2022-23 Season stats: 1176 receiving yards, 12 receiving touchdowns, 79 receptions, 135 targets, 407 yards after catch
I keep flip-flopping with the top three on this list. I had Davante Adams as the best Wide Receiver in the NFL last season and you could say the same this season. Him being ranked third on this list is more of a compliment to the next two players than anything.
2. Justin Jefferson
2022-23 Season stats: 1277 receiving yards, 6 receiving touchdowns, 88 receptions, 127 targets, 442 yards after catch
Justin Jefferson has been slotted as the best Wide Receiver in the NFL on my list a few times this season. If he has another big week next week, don’t be surprised if I move him up a spot once again.
1. Tyreek Hill
2022-23 Season stats: 1379 receiving yards, 5 receiving touchdowns, 96 receptions, 129 targets, 409 yards after catch
I thought Tyreek Hill would fall off this season in terms of production with Tua at the helm, but I was dead wrong. Tyreek Hill is still the fastest player in the NFL today and will produce no matter who throws to him because of his talent.
