Top 10 Best Quarterbacks in the NFL 2020-21 – #7 Aaron Rodgers
#7 – Aaron Rodgers
You can’t help but feel bad for Aaron Rodgers. The Packers were 1 game away from the Super Bowl, and they had a chance this off-season to draft guys who can help them overcome that hump. Instead they didn’t make any off-season trades and spent their 1st and 2nd round picks on a backup Quarterback and 3rd string running back. It was a clear move to build for the future and Aaron Rodgers once again gets no help at Wide Receiver.
I slotted Davante Adams very highly on my Wide Receiver rankings because there is no depth on this team. Devin Funchess was added, but he is no better than Allen Lazard. Aaron Rodgers will still continue to produce with and average WR corp outside of Adams because he is one of the most efficient QBs ever.
He may not be the best Quarterback in the NFL anymore, but too many people forget how great he is. If he does leave the Packers he will be a dream signing for any QB needy team. In the meantime Aaron Rodgers is without a doubt still a top 10 Quarterback.

Top 10 Best Quarterbacks in the NFL 2020-21 – #6 Deshaun Watson
#6 – Deshaun Watson
I talked about how I feel bad for Aaron Rodgers, and the same goes for Deshaun Watson. Bill O’Brian may not be trying to sabotage this team, but it sure looks like it. He is the coach and GM of this team and essentially traded Deandre Hopkins for David Johnson and Brandin Cooks. Saying I hate the move is an understatement.
Deshaun Watson is in the elite category and will overcome the loss of Deandre Hopkins with his ability. He has a lot of speed in the receiving corp, but i’m really worried about Will Fuller and Brandin Cooks as they can’t stay healthy.
Watson will be throwing the football a lot next season, but I think the efficiency will take a hit. He will be a top 10 Quarterback, but be on the outside looking in for the top 5 conversation. I have the Texans as one of my teams that will disappoint next season as they miss the playoffs.

Top 10 Best Quarterbacks in the NFL 2020-21 – Honorable Mention Carson Wentz
Honorable Mention – Carson Wentz
Imagine Nelson Agholor being your best Wide Receiver. That was the harsh reality of Carson Wentz last season. Alshon Jeffery and Desean Jackson could not stay healthy and Wentz’ two best receivers were at Tight End. It helps as Ertz and Geodert are really good, but it’s hard to be consistently dominant with little help at Wide Receiver.
Going into next season they added deep threat Jalen Reagor. The pick makes perfect sense for a Wide Receiver corp that has clearly been struggling. If Jeffery and Jackson can play most of the season this offense will look a lot better.
That is where i’m skeptical. Not only do these WRs have a deep injury history, but so does Wentz. He has a 50/50 shot of playing a full season in 2020.
Yes, I included Dak over Wentz and I don’t regret it at all. Talent wise they are very similar, but Dak Prescott has a far better receiving corp.
