Jets 2021 NFL Draft Class

Only time will tell if Zach Wilson was the right quarterback to take at number 2. He is not the reason this grade is so high. It’s so high because the Jets still did a great job finding a batch of promising talent on the offensive side to work with the young rookie quarterback. They did their best to put him in a position to succeed.

I loved the move to trade up for Alijah Vera-Tucker as the Jets solidified the left side of their offensive line. Elijah Moore was also a great grab at the beginning of round 2 to add even more speed at the WR position.

The steal of the draft may have been the selection of Michael Carter in round 4. Many speculated he would be taken on day 2 including myself, so it was a treat for the Jets to get him so late.

Overall, New York went all-in on improving their offense after spending money on the defensive side during free agency. All eyes will be on the Jets who have a much improved roster compared to last year’s forgettable season. They can only go up from here.
