Although he has never entered the dunk contest, there is no doubt in my mind he would’ve taken home the crown based off his athletic ability alone.
From his signature tomahawk slam’s to his numerous posters, he has given us some of the most memorable moments in all of sports. The entire world sits on the edge of their seat when they see #23 coming down the lane with a full head of steam. Blake Griffin is one of the most exciting players this league has ever seen, not to mention the fact that he is in an elite category when it comes to dunking ability.
Before his recent struggle with injuries, Blake feared no man as he would try to dunk on anyone who got in his way. Most people would agree that they miss Lob City, when he and Deandre Jordan were finishing alley oops left and right for the Los Angeles Clippers.

You can rob Aaron Gordon once, you can rob him twice, but I refuse to leave him off this list. This man has been apart of 2 of the greatest Slam Dunk contests. In both contests, he got screwed by the judges and everyone knows it. Not even jumping over a 7-foot-5 Tacko Fall did the trick as he was the only player to score 5 straight 50 dunks in a row. They need to fix this scoring somehow because there is no way that Aaron Gordon shouldn’t have at least one trophy under his belt.
What also makes him special is his ability to bring dunk contest like dunks in game. He is an athletic freak and frequently finds ways to show off his hops.
