Speed kills. The fastest NFL players have the ability to outrun anyone with their sprinter level speed. It’s easy for me to base this list strictly on combine metrics like the 40 yard dash, but I also account for in-game speed. The eye test is important to me and seeing a player outrun someone with their side to side speed and quickness also plays a role. Being effective and retaining that elite level speed with football pads is vital. I also decided not to include defensive players on this list, but if I were to do it, I would include names like William Jackson and Brandon Wilson. These are the top 10 fastest players in the NFL 2020.
