The statistical window begins with Week 1 of the 2020 regular season and ends with the completion of the 2025 regular season. A player receives credit regardless of which team he represented during that span. Half-sacks count as 0.5, and players with identical totals share the same rank.

Sack totals measure finishes, not every part of pass-rush performance. Pressures, quarterback hits, double-team rates, run defense and alignment are outside this leaderboard. That distinction matters for interior defenders and players who consistently create pressure for teammates. That combination of two-team production and repeated high-end seasons separates him from the next group by 9.5 sacks.

Brian Burns: 63.5 Sacks

Burns ranks fifth with 63.5 sacks in 98 games. His 16.5 sacks in 2025 were the second-most in the league and widened his cumulative lead over Hunter.
