I remember when I ranked Chubb highly going into the season and many were quick to point out Kareem Hunt will take over once he returns from suspension. Time for my victory lap. Nick Chubb played his first 16 game season and went off finishing 2nd in rushing yards and 2nd in forced missed tackles.
The Browns were a mess this season, but the silver lining is how dominant their run game has become. Nick Chubb is an extremely physical runner and has the speed to break 90+ yard touchdowns.
For me to put him in the elite top 3 category, he has to become more effective and consistent as a pass catcher.

#3 – Dalvin Cook
You can tell how important a player is for a team by how they play without him. Albeit a small sample size, this Vikings offense looked horrible without Cook. He missed week 16 and this offense was dominated by the Packers defense.
Dalvin Cook is truly the X-Factor for this team. He finished 10th in rushing yards and 4th in rushing touchdowns while only playing 14 games. It’s also worth mentioning he has developed into on of the best pass catching running backs in the league with 519 receiving yards while catching 84.1% of the passes that went his way.
This Vikings team loves running the ball and you know this offense will roll through their best player in Dalvin Cook next season and for seasons to come.
