#2 – Russell Wilson
No longer are the Seattle Seahawks a defense wins championships kind of team. Their defense has been shaky, ye they continue to win games because Russell Wilson is playing at an all-time high.
Russell Wilson is the most well-rounded Quarterback in the NFL. He is one of the most pressured Quarterbacks in the NFL, but still manages to be hyper efficient. He finds ways to extend plays and is as accurate throwing on the run as he is staying in the pocket.
Russell Wilson just continuously finds ways to make plays in big situations. The Seahawks have armed Wilson with lethal threats at Wide Receiver and he will only continue to dominate next season.
#1 – Patrick Mahomes
I was not going to finish ranking this Quarterbacks list until I saw the playoffs out. I think playoff performance is one of the most telling stats for QBs, much more so compared to other positions. Patrick Mahomes has proved to me that he can be a record breaking Quarterback both in season and in the playoffs.
I mentioned we have never seen anything like Lamar Jackson before, and the same can be said for Mahomes. The difference is, Patrick Mahomes is equipped with an elite skill set and mentality which allows him to make the big time throws.
I really do believe that he is the most talented QB in the NFL with potential to become the best of all-time. That comes with the title as I don’t think there has ever been an arm stronger that Mahomes’. Andy Reid has surrounded him with speed and this offense has been unstoppable.
He has the stats, the clutch factor, and of course the Super Bowl win. If a team wanted to start their dynasty today, I don’t think there would be any other choice besides Patrick Mahomes – the best Quarterback in the NFL.
