Top 10 Best Wide Receivers in the NFL Today

These are the top 10 wide receivers going into week 6. This list is based on overall talent, production so far, but most importantly projected production going forward. It does not include players currently injured and out.

#10 – Nico Collins | -1

This is my pick for breakout player of the year. C.J. Stroud has been tremendous through the first 5 games of his rookie season and Nico Collins is his favorite target. He is long, fast, and a rising superstar for this rejuvenated Texans franchise.

#9 – Brandon Aiyuk | -1

Take your pick between Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk. Both are elite after the catch, but Aiyuk stands out to me as the more complete wide receiver. This 49ers team is stacked front to back which means he’s primed for some massive games to finish the season.

#8 – DJ Moore | +6

I stopped believing in D.J. Moore early this season and he’s proved me wrong. While Justin Fields is far from the most efficient Quarterback in the NFL, he has an alpha in DJ Moore. This team will be playing from behind for most the season which means more DJ Moore.

#7 – Cooper Kupp | NEW

Welcome back Cooper Kupp… we missed you. I can’t wait to see this trio of Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. Everyone counted out the Rams coming into the season, but they’re back. Cooper Kupp is a gamechanger and will rise on this top 10 list if he can stay healthy.

#6 – Keenan Allen | +0

With Mike Williams out for the season, it’s clear sailing for Keenan Allen. Justin Herbert loves to air it out and Keenan Allen continues to produce at the age of 31. He is currently averaging over 100 receiving yards per game and there is no sign that changes.

#5 – Ja’Marr Chase | +7

Were you worried even a little? This guy is always open even when covered and he proved that. Joe Burrow finally started to look like his old self largely because Ja’Marr Chase proved he was the best player on the field at all times on Sunday. The Bengals passing attack is back.

#4 – Davante Adams | +0

I feel bad for Davante Adams. Even though they won the game against the Packers, he was only targeted 4 times. That’s not enough for someone as good as Adams. He continues to prove he should always be in consideration for the best wide receiver in the NFL until proven otherwise.

#3 – A.J. Brown | +1

The Eagles passing offense worried me to start the season, but are finally catching stride. Jalen Hurts is looking elite again and A.J. Brown will always be his go to guy. The 5-0 record speaks for itself.

#2 – Stefon Diggs | +1

Sure, the Bills lost against the Jags last week, but at no fault of Diggs. While he is ranked second on this list, he could very well earn the title of best wide receiver by season end.

#1 – Tyreek Hill | +1

If Justin Jefferson wasn’t on IR he would be my selection for the best wide receiver in the NFL. But as of right now, Tyreek Hill is the best wide receiver in the NFL. Tua is looking like an elite NFL quarterback and Tyreek Hill is his do everything guy. Speed Kills and Tyreek Hill is the fastest player in the NFL today and of all-time.
