#2 – Russell Wilson
Russell Wilson became the highest paid Quarterback in the NFL and has earned every penny. The Seattle Seahawks would not be a playoff team without him.
A lot of people assume that the Seahawks have a great offensive line, but that’s not the case. Wilson makes them look a lot better than they are because he is the best pocket escape artist in the NFL. No QB is better at evading the pressure while keeping his eyes down field than Russell Wilson.
He is now armed with an impressive receiving corp. I believe in both Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf who will continue to build that chemistry. They also added Greg Olsen who is way too slept on. Injuries have brought him down, but if healthy expect him to make a big impact in the passing game. Same goes for Will Dissley who has done nothing but impress, but can’t stay healthy.
I can’t see Russell Wilson not being a top 3 Quarterback next season and I would not be shocked at all if he wins MVP.
#1 – Patrick Mahomes
Even without winning the MVP next season, I can confidently say that Patrick Mahomes was and is the best Quarterback in the NFL. He has a 500 million dollar arm. Literally.
Andy Reid knows what he has and armed Patrick Mahomes with the fastest wide receivers in the league and what a genius move it has payed off to be. Mahomes is fantastic at extending plays and much like Russell Wilson loves keeping his eyes downfield and airing it out.
With Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill at full health and drama free going into next season, all my bets are on the Chiefs. If you’re playing fantasy football get as many weapons on this offense as possible. Patrick Mahomes is unstoppable.
